Hot Issues

The Associated Logging Contractors works on issues that impact logging contractors and their ability to be successful in the logging business.  To that end, the ALC Board contracts with CapitalWest Public Policy Group (http://www.capitolwest.us/Services.html) for governmental affairs representation in Boise, Idaho's State Capitol, and in Washington, D.C.

The ALC also works with the American Loggers Council (www.americanloggers.org) to collaborate on issues impacting Idaho logging contractors and logging contractors across the country and brings a united voice to decision makers in Washington, D.C., through that organization.
