2010 FIRST AID AND SAFETY TRAINING

The following classes have been scheduled for the annual first aid and safety training. Please notify your entire crew (and encourage their spouses) to attend this valuable class. It is required by OSHA for all employees to have a current first aid card. The first aid and safety training class counts as 8 credits towards the Idaho Pro-Logger certification continuing education program.

University of Idaho Extension is offering a 1-1/2 day “LEAP Update” class in several locations (see locations marked with asterisk on schedule). The LEAP Update classes are co-scheduled with the first aid and safety training so participants can get all the continuing education credits required by the Idaho Pro-Logger program within two days.

Complimentary coffee and doughnuts will be served at 7:00 a.m. The first aid and safety training starts at 8:00 a.m. and finishes at noon. For those staying for the LEAP Update classes, they will need to either bring a sack lunch or buy lunch at a nearby facility.

No pre-registration is necessary for attendance at the first aid and safety training! However, registration IS necessary for attending the LEAP Update.*
