Over 1,700 Idaho loggers have taken the 3-dayUniversity of Idaho Extension program on forest ecology, silviculture, and water quality titled Logger Education to Advance Professionalism or“LEAP”. Flyers for 2020 LEAP sessions (April 21-23 in Moscow or April 28-30 in Coeur d’Alene)are available at your local UI Extension office or at www.uidaho.edu/extension/forestry.
LEAP Update is an annual opportunity for loggers to build on LEAP with in-depth training on forestry topics. The program also helps loggers meet Idaho Pro-Logger BMP training and continuing education requirements. Check-in for each of these sessions will open at7:15 am. The program will begin at 8:00 am and end at 3:30 pm, with morning and afternoon breaks, and a catered lunch (sponsored byAssociated Logging Contractors of Idaho).
