Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI)
SFI, Inc., is an independent, nonprofit organization solely responsible for maintaining, overseeing and improving the internationally recognized Sustainable Forestry Initiative® program. SFI is a solutions-oriented sustainability organization that collaborates on forest-based conservation and community initiatives that demonstrate and enhance our shared quality of life while providing supply chain assurances through standards, data, and authentic stories.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
The Forest Stewardship Council mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests. The FSC vision is that we can meet our current needs for forest products without compromising the health of the world’s forests for future generations.
The Idaho Tree Farm Program is a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Tree Farm System and American Forest Foundation, and sponsored by the Intermountain Forest Association in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The program is committed to promoting the growing of renewable forest resources on private lands, while protecting environmental benefits and increasing public understanding of all benefits of productive forestry.
